Welcome to Himalayan Valley Retreat, where tranquility meets comfort. By booking a stay or using our website, you agree to these terms. Please read carefully to understand what to expect during your visit.

1. Booking & Reservations

To reserve your stay, you can book directly through our website, email, or phone. All reservations require a valid name, contact details, and payment information. A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking, with full payment required 7 days before arrival. Prices listed include taxes and service charges unless otherwise stated, though rates may vary during holidays or special events.

Guests must be at least 18 years old to book or check in. Once your reservation is confirmed, we’ll send you an email summarizing your stay.

2. Cancellations & Changes

If you need to cancel, here’s what applies:

  • Cancel 30+ days before arrival: Full refund.
  • Cancel 15–29 days before arrival: 50% refund.
  • Cancel within 14 days: No refund.
  • Changes to your booking are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

3. Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in begins at 12:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Late check-out may be available on request for an extra fee. Early arrivals cannot be guaranteed but will be accommodated if possible.

4. Guest Responsibilities

We ask guests to respect the retreat’s peaceful environment by treating staff and fellow visitors kindly, keeping rooms tidy, and reporting any damages promptly. Smoking is not allowed inside rooms or common areas, and pets are only permitted if pre-approved (service animals exempt).

5. Safety & Liability

While we prioritize cleanliness and safety, we cannot be held responsible for injuries, illnesses, or disruptions caused by natural events like landslides or weather conditions. Valuables should be stored in the room safe or with the front desk, as we’re not liable for lost items.

6. Use of Facilities

Our amenities, including the pool, spa, and dining services, operate during designated hours. Guests are responsible for any damage to property or equipment. Unauthorized access to restricted areas (e.g., staff-only zones) is not permitted.

7. Force Majeure

If unforeseen events like pandemics, natural disasters, or government restrictions prevent us from operating, we may cancel bookings without penalty and issue a full refund.

8. Website & Online Services

The images and descriptions on our website aim to reflect the retreat accurately, though minor variations may occur. We’re not responsible for external websites linked to ours, and cookies are used to enhance your browsing experience (see our Privacy Policy for details).

9. Termination of Booking

We reserve the right to cancel a booking if payment isn’t received on time, if guests violate these terms, or if emergencies arise.

10. Governing Law

These terms follow Indians laws, and disputes will be resolved in local courts.

11. General Terms

We may update these terms occasionally, and changes will be posted on our website. Failing to enforce a rule doesn’t mean it’s waived, and these terms, along with our Privacy Policy, form the complete agreement between you and Himalayan Valley Retreat.
